8171 Web Portal: Beneficiaries facing issues with their participation in the program can now verify their eligibility through the 8171 web portal. Existing beneficiaries and those undergoing dynamic survey or new registration must use the portal to check their eligibility before availing of this installment. By checking eligibility on the web portal, you can confirm whether you are still eligible for the program. The portal also provides information on the payment status, including sponsorship program payments and children’s educational stipends. Additionally, if you have been disqualified, this will be reflected on the 8171 web portal.

Check-Up for Individuals: Individuals undergoing verification for an extended period will be included in the program before June 30. They are encouraged to check their complete information and eligibility status on the 8171 web portal.

Update on New Programs: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced several new programs, including the Nigehbaan program, Hamit card program, free solar system under the Roshan Gharana scheme, and motorcycles for students. These initiatives aim to provide further support and opportunities to the people of Punjab.

Benazir Kafalat Program: The upcoming installment of the Benazir Income Support Program, starting from May 13, will include payments for the Benazir Education Scholarship alongside. This integrated approach aims to provide comprehensive support to eligible recipients.

New Banking System Update: To address the issue of substantial payments being deducted by agents, the government is implementing a new banking system under the Benazir Income Support Program. Regular beneficiaries will have new bank accounts opened, facilitating direct deposits of payments. Recipients can then withdraw funds at their convenience. This transition will resolve issues like error 938 or 933 deductions. However, this change will be effective from the next installment onwards.

Two Types of Beneficiary Families: The new installment will specifically target two types of beneficiaries. Firstly, regular beneficiaries who previously received payments and underwent a dynamic survey will continue to receive support under the program. Eligible individuals from this category will also receive the new installment.

Number Two: New Registrants, Particularly Women: The second category encompasses individuals who were not previously enrolled in the program due to various reasons or had not completed registration. Over the past six to eight months, these individuals underwent new surveys or registrations. Recently, they have been deemed eligible for the program, qualifying them to receive the new installment.

Announcement of Last Date for Dynamic Survey: Beneficiaries who underwent dynamic surveys and experienced a halt in payments due to low PMT scores have been notified of the final deadline. Failure to complete the survey within 30 days will result in the termination of payments. Those who complete the survey before June 30, 2024, but fail to improve their PMT scores, will also face payment cessation.

New Update on Benazir Kafala and Education Scholarship Program: Beneficiaries whose payments were previously withheld under the sponsorship program or the education scholarship program have received their pending payments. The transfer process for these families has commenced, ensuring that withheld payments are deposited into their accounts. This update signifies the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of these families and facilitating the payment process.
