Under this scheme, every farmer can apply for a simple loan of up to Rs. 150,000 for a single crop. With the Kisan Card, farmers can purchase seeds, fertilizer, and other essential agricultural supplies.

Registration Procedure for Kisan Card

Registration is crucial to receive the Kisan Card from the Punjab government. To check eligibility, farmers need to send their CNIC number to 8070. Upon confirmation of eligibility, they can apply for the Kisan Card following the procedure below:

Farmers who have opened a mobile account with biometric authentication (L-1) can apply for a Kisan card at any HBL Konnect retailing store.

Purchase a bundle of Kisan Tokens for Rs. 500.

Complete the application available at the Tehsil Office.

Submit the necessary paperwork.

After verification, collect your Kisan Card from the Tehsil Office.

Eligibility Criteria for Kisan Card

The Kisan Card is available to farmers in Punjab who meet specific requirements:

Owners of up to 12.5 acres of land can register for a Kisan card.

Land must be registered with the land record center, and the farmer must register their mobile SIM card number with their ID card.

The farmer’s ID card will be verified by the government using NADRA information.

No financial delinquency should be present. After six months of making easy monthly payments on the interest-free loan, farmers qualify for another loan for the following crop.

Go to your Mobile Message inbox.

Type your 13-digit CNIC Number with the message “PKC Space”.
