Benazir Income Support Program Announced Big Updates For Installment Payment Withdraw

Thank you to all our media friends who have gathered here at the BISP Payment Withdrawal event at the Benazir Income Support Program Headquarters in Lahore. We extend our greetings to you and, through you, we want to convey that the Benazir Income Support Program is an internationally renowned initiative benefiting 9.5 million families. I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone that this program was created by the late Benazir Bhutto. She conceived this program while she was in Dubai, always thinking about the poor people of Pakistan.

New Program

Even back then, she was deeply concerned about the poor and helpless women of Pakistan. The women who have benefited from this program are honored globally. While Benazir Bhutto is no longer with us, we continue to run this program in her name in Pakistan. We have plans to expand its scope further. Recently, we have also revived a program that was previously discontinued.

We will keep you informed about these updates. It’s important to note that we communicate with our beneficiaries through one official number, 8171. Any messages from other numbers are not from the Benazir Income Support Program. We have discussed this with the IT Ministry of Pakistan, led by Sheikh Fatima Sahiba, to combat electronic fraud.

We are also addressing this issue with relevant authorities. We have improved our system significantly. Previously, payments to our beneficiaries were handled by a single bank, which led to numerous complaints. Now, we have partnered with six additional banks to facilitate payments. This will reduce congestion and ensure that people receive their payments transparently and comfortably. Our main goals with BISP Payment Withdrawal are twofold: to ensure payments are made transparently and with respect.

Following the vision of our leaders, including Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, we aim to ensure that payments are made in a transparent and respectful manner. We are committed to achieving this goal in a manner that preserves the dignity of our beneficiaries, and we are making significant progress.
