Benazir Kafalat Program And 8171 Program Updates

Dynamic Survey Mechanism: A dynamic survey is an adaptive questionnaire that tailors its questions based on the respondent’s previous answers. Here’s how it works:

Branching Logic: The survey directs respondents through different paths based on their answers. For instance, if the question is “Do you own a pet?” and the respondent answers “yes,” the next question might be “What kind of pet?” If the answer is “no,” a different question follows.

Tailored Questions: The survey personalizes the experience by asking relevant questions. For example, if a respondent is a dog owner, they might be asked about their favorite dog breed.

Skip Logic: Irrelevant questions are skipped based on earlier answers, making the survey concise and engaging.

Benazir Kafalat Program And 8171 Program Updates

July Updates: From July, expect three significant updates regarding the BISP:

New Dynamic Survey: BISP has started a dynamic survey, conducted every three years to reassess the eligibility of all beneficiaries. The purpose is to ensure that only those who meet the criteria continue receiving support. If a beneficiary is found ineligible, their payments will be stopped immediately. The dynamic survey must be completed by June 30. Beneficiaries who fail to complete the survey by then will be disqualified from the program.

Eligibility Check: Those who have been receiving benefits for three to four years must complete their dynamic survey by July. To check if you need to be re-surveyed, use the new Akasi portal. Enter your ID card number to see your eligibility status and whether you need to complete the dynamic survey. If your survey is not completed, visit the nearest BISP office to avoid disqualification.

Third Phase Payments: Beneficiaries from the first and second phases who did not receive their payments, as well as those in the third phase, will start receiving PKR 10,500 from the first week of July. This includes additional good news:

Expanded Eligibility: New districts and additional beneficiaries previously registered will now receive support under the BISP.

Status Updates: Those who completed their dynamic survey by last month will have their status updated and informed of their eligibility in July.
