Electric Bike Scheme Update:
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has unveiled four significant schemes, with the Ramadan Nigehbaan Scheme now completed. Among the remaining initiatives, the Apni Sawari Scheme has been officially launched. This scheme aims to produce 1,000 bikes, including 1,000 electric bikes out of a total of 2,000 bikes. The government plans to provide a subsidy of one billion rupees for this scheme, making it interest-free for users, including students. New Bike Scheme For Students:
In the initial phase, electric bikes will be distributed in five major cities of Punjab. Out of the allocated 700 electric bikes, 300 are designated for female students of established graduate colleges and universities in these cities. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a driving license for over a year, and meet other specified criteria. If you don’t have a driving license, you can apply for a learner’s license to participate in the scheme.

How to Apply for Online Bike Scheme:
To apply for the online bike scheme from the comfort of your home, you’ll need to provide your name, phone number, ID card number, and the name of your school or university. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can visit any Bank of Punjab branch in your local area to acquire an electric bike.
