Eligible Updates For Benazir Kafalat Program From Benazir Income Support Program

ATMs are being reinstated for all payments under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). After being closed for a long period, ATMs will resume operations from July 15th, allowing beneficiaries to access their payments. Additionally, a new banking system will be introduced soon, enabling recipients to collect their payments from six new banks.

Two Categories of Eligible Women:

1. Screened Women Eligible for BISP Program: An important update is that the Up Dynamic survey issue has been resolved for two categories of women. Women who have registered and are still under verification will not need another survey as their data is already being checked. If deemed eligible, their installments will be released. If not, they will need to undergo a dynamic survey after a certain period.

2. Women Undergoing Dynamic Survey Since January: Women who became eligible for BISP after January 2024 have started receiving payments. These women will not undergo another dynamic survey for the next two years. They will be re-surveyed after this period, and their eligibility will be reassessed. If they remain eligible, their payments will continue; otherwise, they will be discontinued.

Regular Beneficiaries Update: Women who joined the BISP around two and a half to three years ago must undergo an up-dynamic survey. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the program.

Benazir Income Support Program New Installment Update: The final phase of the latest BISP installment is still pending, but it will be completed soon. Within the next three to four days, beneficiaries will receive their last installment in their accounts. Due to increasing temperatures in various areas, it is advised to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related issues. The government has assured that ATMs will be operational from July 15th, making the process easier.

New Update for Kafalat Program: Women currently under verification will be de-verified in September. Once verified, their upfront installments will be transferred to their accounts, allowing them to receive their payments.
