BISP Mazdoor Card and PPP Initiative for Workers:

Introduction: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) continues its commitment to assisting workers by providing special cards. On Labor Day in 2022, the Sindh government introduced the Benazir Worker Card, catering to all categories of workers, including employees.

PPP Leadership’s Initiative: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the leader of the PPP, spearheaded this initiative to address poverty in the country and aid the labor class in combatting the challenges of inflation.

Eligibility Criteria for BISP Mazdoor Card: The Sindh government, under BISP, announced an initiative to assist the labor class in tackling inflation. Workers with a monthly income less than Rs. 25,000/- are eligible to apply for a Mazdoor card.

Sindh government announced this initiative under BISP to help the labor class to fight inflation. Workers whose monthly income is less than Rs. 25,000/- can apply for Labor Card.

This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden on workers with lower incomes, contributing to their well-being during times of economic hardship. The provision of the Mazdoor card underscores the government’s commitment to supporting the labor class and addressing issues related to inflation.

Benefits of the BISP Mazdoor Card Initiative:

Allowances for Selected Workers: If workers are selected for the Mazdoor Card initiative, they will be issued a card that provides the following allowances:

Maternity Allowance

Residence Allowance

Medical Allowance

Educational Scholarships
